Someone can give you the price, but no one can tell you what something’s worth.

Jason Fried

My understanding

Price is easy to calculate. It’s just a number, but worth is something deeper. What something means to me or how it impacts my life can’t be measured by a price tag.

Two people can look at the same thing and see completely different value. That’s why no one else can truly tell me what something is worth.

This quote reminds me that value is personal. It’s about connection, purpose, or the meaning something holds in my life.

A thing’s true worth depends on how much it matters to me, not just how much it costs.

It’s a simple idea, but it makes me think twice about what I really value and why.

Reminds me

  1. "The most important day is the day you decide you’re good enough for you. It’s the day you set yourself free." from Mandy Hale.
